Radha Krishna Temple in Dallas (RKT), is a temple dedicated to Hindus located in the Allen area. It was built by JKYog during Swami Mukundananda’s reign.
In July 2017, the Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas opened. The ceremony lasted eight days and was held under the guidance of Swami Mukunanda and JKYog. The Shilpa Shastra outlined the architectural guidelines for the construction of the temple. The house of worship can host worship services, religious functions, and other community celebrations. It is a unique cultural and architectural structure.
In May 2020, the Bhoomi Poojan celebration marked the beginning of the Center for Education and Culture’s creation. It covers 20,000 square feet and will be used for meditation, yoga, kid’s classes, youth leadership seminars as well as wedding ceremonies and cultural events.
Radha Krishna Temple observes the major Hindu festivals, including Holi, Janmashtami and Holi, Holi, Janmashtami. The temple also hosts cultural events like Yoga and Sanskriti. The temple also offers courses in Hindi, Toastmasters and Programming, along with religious celebrations.
The temple frequently approaches the community and surrounding areas to hold more celebrations and share more quality moments with their loved one, friends, or the entire community.
JKYog provides a program for children aged 6-16 years. JKYog provides a program for kids aged 6-16 that focuses on spiritual values and encourages healthy body and mind. There are also fun activities like painting and dancing. Every year, the temple hosts “Sanskriti”, a talent showcase for children to show off their talents.
Radha Krishna Temple offers many programs that enhance the quality and life of members of the community through service, personality development as well as meditation, yoga, spirituality, and community service. Toastmasters, Satsang congregations and weekly meditation and yoga classes are some of the other programs offered by the temple. A Family Camp for Hindus is also available. This camp allows adults to work on their spiritual and individual development.
