Watters Creek, a high-end entertainment and shopping destination located at Montgomery Farm in Allen TX, is Watters Creek. The center is situated on 52 acres of topography and natural features, including a creek and evergreen spaces. The center is home to more than 70 shops and boutiques. Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas

Radha Krishna Temple in Dallas (RKT), is a temple dedicated to Hindus located in the Allen area. It was built by JKYog during Swami Mukundananda’s reign.

In July 2017, the Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas opened. The ceremony lasted eight days and was held under the guidance of Swami Mukunanda and JKYog. The Shilpa Shastra outlined the architectural guidelines for the construction of the temple. The house of worship can host worship services, religious functions, and other community celebrations. It is a unique cultural and architectural structure.

In May 2020, the Bhoomi Poojan celebration marked the beginning of the Center for Education and Culture’s creation. It covers 20,000 square feet and will be used for meditation, yoga, kid’s classes, youth leadership seminars as well as wedding ceremonies and cultural events.

Events and programs

Radha Krishna Temple observes the major Hindu festivals, including Holi, Janmashtami and Holi, Holi, Janmashtami. The temple also hosts cultural events like Yoga and Sanskriti. The temple also offers courses in Hindi, Toastmasters and Programming, along with religious celebrations.

Play Street Museum

Play Street Museum is an indoor interactive play area in the Allen, TX area. It was created to encourage children’s independence, exploration, and creativity. It often succeeds in its mission by offering creative and educational activities for children 8 years old and younger.

Play Street Museum Charges

Every child aged between 1 and 8 years old pays $13. A paying sibling can accompany a younger child or an older child and receive free entry. The games are open to older children, but they must behave calmly and respectfully.

Play Street Museum offers $55 five-visit pass. The $55 Play Street Museum pass allows you to bring one child, but you are allowed to share the ticket with a family member. The passes are valid for up 12 months after purchase and can only be used during weekday open games.

Play Hours and Other Activities

You can play the facility from Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

You don’t need to make reservations. It is not necessary to reserve a museum visit for groups. However, it is best to arrive in advance to ensure that you have enough space.

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to be closer to the play area as they watch their children.

It is important that children who visit this facility are disciplined. Any child found to be disruptive or interfering in the learning and play of others is subject to removal by the facility.

Play Street Museum is closed on weekends because it hosts private events. They do occasionally host special events on weekends that are open to the public. You must reserve in advance to host a special event.

This museum is perfect for private play dates with your friends and family. You can sign up up for up 10 children depending on your availability.

Food

Play Street Museum doesn’t allow food into its play area. Before you arrive at Play Street Museum, ensure that your child is well-fed before they go. Outside beverages are allowed for both children and adults. While you’re relaxing, you can enjoy your favorite beverage.

Joe Farmer Recreation Center

Joe Farmer Recreation Center is a government building in the Allen, Texas area. The primary purpose of the center is to provide opportunities for citizens to enjoy recreational activities, improve their health, and learn new skills.

Camps

Joe Farmer Recreation Camp provides a safe, well-supervised environment for children when schools are closed. There are many educational and interactive camps. They offer special occasions, field trips, crafts and arts to children. The center also offers camps for sports camps, summer vacation camps, as well as holiday camps.

The camp also offers a special camp called “Traditional Day Camp” which is for children aged 5-12 years. Camp STAR is open to children who have completed kindergarten by the time it begins and not been in seventh grade by the end of the camp.

Hydrous Wakeboard Park

Hydrous Wakeboard Park opened its doors in Allen in September 2011. They are located near Allen Skateboard Park. They opened a new facility in Little Elm City during the 2013 summer. Towers Tap House is a large restaurant that can be found in the Little facility.

Hydrous Wakeboard Park Activities

The park is a great place to spend your time in the warmer weather. This park is a paradise for children who love water. There are two locations for the park: Little Elm and Allen.

Hydrous Summer Camp is a well-known feature at the facility. This camp allows kids to get outside and stay active during summer. Children can enjoy water sports like wakeboarding during summer camp. There are different times for the camps. They can be spread out into half-day morning or afternoon sessions, or full-day camps. Saturday morning camps are also available for children.

Morning camps

Morning camps are open to children 8-15 years old and run Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Campers can access all the facilities, including the main and beginner cable systems, during this session.

Afternoon camp

Riders who have completed the beginner-level training lakes can attend afternoon camps. These camps do not allow riders to use beginner-level training lakes.

Camps for full-day

Riders who are proficient in beginner training systems will find all-day camps very useful. Riders are not allowed to access beginner training lakes. The camp does not include main cables. Full-day camps are open to all ages, but only 8-15 years old. They run Monday through Friday from 1pm-4pm. This session does not include lunch.

Single morning camp

For those who are unable to attend the entire week-long session, single morning camps can be used. Sessions are held from Wednesday through Friday, 8:30 AM-11:30 AM. They are open to children 8 and older.

Saturday morning sessions

A single camp is offered for Saturday morning sessions. Camps are held between 9:30 and 11:30 for children aged 8 and 15. The campers have full access to the facility, and can use both the main and beginner cable training systems.

You don’t need to purchase any equipment while you visit the camp; you can rent it.

Eagle Stadium

Eagle Stadium is a soccer arena in Allen, TX. It is managed by the Allen Independent School District and serves as the home field for the Allen High School soccer team. It is situated on 72 acres and is a pride of the community.

Eagle Stadium Launch

On 31 August 2012, the stadium was officially inaugurated with a duel between the Southlake Carroll Dragons and the Allen Eagles, the Texas 5A state champions. Allen defeated the Dragons 24 to 0. This win was witnessed by 22,000 people, with 4,000 in excess.

Before that match day, Allen Dragons had never won against Dragons. It was a convenient moment that Eagles displayed their power during the opening night of a new stadium. This stadium set the standard for high school stadiums. It is clear that Allen values the education of his young players and this stadium shows it.

Eagle Stadium Facts

The Eagle Stadium covers 72 acres. This facility was built by Allen citizens for $60 million.

The stadium has 18,000 seats and is equipped with a 75′ x 45′ HD video board that allows for instant replay.

Eagle Stadium offers a parking lot that can accommodate up to 5,050 cars, and two-terminal areas that are available for rent during match days. There are 42 concession channels and a three-layered press box with shooting decks that can be used by coaches and media.

You might feel like you are entering a college or professional soccer stadium when you enter it. The stadium’s design and architecture is inspired by the Frisco minor-league baseball park.

The facility was originally built for football, but it also hosts other sports. There is a wrestling area, a practice section for golf and a weight room.

Food

You can enjoy Chick-fil-A and Dickey’s Barbecue while you watch a match at the stadium. There are also traditional options such as hot dogs, cheese and pepperoni pizzas, pretzels, and cheese-or-pepperoni pizzas.

A bistro box can be ordered with fresh fruit, crackers, cheese and other healthy items if you are concerned about your health. Four concession stands are available for caffeine-lovers who want to enjoy a cup of cappuccino.

Celebration Park

Celebration Park, a community park located in Allen, Texas, covers 104 acres and is home to the Market Street Allen USA Celebration which takes place each year. The park also houses one of Texas’ largest parks for the physically handicapped, as well as soccer fields and tennis courts. The adjacent spray field is also worth noting. Celebration Park is a great place for children to cool off and play in the water, especially in Texas’ hot summers.

The kidMania play structure, which covers over an acre, is accessible by all ages and is friendly for children of all ages. The large ground and lake are ideal for children to run or walk around. In 2003, Allen Parks Foundation employees and volunteers joined forces to create a fully accessible playground. It was the largest of its kind in the state. The Parks Foundation raised more than $150,000 to fund the project. Each section can be used for a variety of activities. The colors are arranged according to difficulty level, but the playground is still fun for everyone. Children will never get bored in the large playground.

Celebration Park is a great place to burn calories. You can run, bike, walk or relax. There are excellent trails that you can use to exercise or walk your pet.

The Parks Foundation also sponsors family movie nights at the park, where families can enjoy a unique movie experience.

Keep this in mind

Management at the park places environmental conservation among its highest priorities. The park management encourages visitors to recycle aluminum cans and plastic containers to help divert large quantities of recyclables that are accumulated each week at the local dump.

Allen Station Park

Allen Station Park is located in the middle of Allen, Texas. This city park is located on 109 acres of land and attracts sports enthusiasts from all over the region. Allen Station Park features BMX tracks and roller hockey rinks. There are also washer courts, trails and a playground.

The Edge Skate Park

The Edge Skate Park can be found at the southern edge of Allen Station Park. The park was officially opened to public on June 4, 2005. It is a visitor center complex that includes a visitor center, BMX track and 2-roller hockey arenas. There is also a concrete skatepark. It is one of the most unique and largest amenities in the state. The outdoor skate park is open from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. All skate spaces are subject to the same timing. You can access the BMX track from 8 a.m. until sunset. The operating hours can vary depending on the season. The outdoor facilities are free to the public. Anyone can use them.

Softball Fields

Allen is a popular destination for tournament and sports players. Allen’s commitment to maintaining quality sports grounds is what draws players to the city. At Allen Station Park, four man-made turf diamonds excite softball tournament organizers. The entire field has been installed, which makes it stand out from other Allen fields. The synthetic turf gives the Allen Station Park fields more space and is more weather-resistant, making them more accessible all year.

There are play areas available for children from 2 to 5, and older children between 5 and 12. There is a mini zip-line and hanging rings. A swing set, crawling tunnel, and slide are all part of the play area. The park is clean and can accommodate all ages. The park also offers a walking path, drinking fountains and washrooms. There are picnic tables and barbecue pits.

Activities

Allen Station Park caters to all ages. It is the best place to walk your dog or spend time with children. You can find shade where you can relax after a long day.

Allen Heritage Village

The Allen Heritage Village is located in an area of St. Mary Drive, in Allen, Texas. It covers some acres. The village is made up of many of Allen’s historic churches, homes, and storehouses that have been moved and restored. This park allows guests to have fun and educate them about Allen’s history through interpretive evidence. Open houses are held regularly at the facility, which also has three churches available for rent by members of public.

Background of Allen Heritage Village

The St. Mary Baptist Church was the first project to establish the Allen Heritage Village. To create a village-like environment where structures from old neighborhoods could be moved and rebuilt, the Allen Heritage Guild acquired additional land in Allen. This allowed guests to learn about the rich history of Allen. The Community Development Corporation funded the project. The project was completed September 2002.

In 2003, the Heritage Guild made great progress by moving some structures to the facility and preparing a plan for the village. A renowned architect designed restoration plans in 2005 for the exterior of the Allen Christian Church and two bungalow houses. In 2008, the exterior restorations were completed. In collaboration with Allen Heritage Guild, Allen Garden Club and the City of Allen, the Collin County Master Gardeners Association performed the landscaping. Along with other community partners, the Collin County Master Garden Club continues to care for and develop the gardens.

The village continues to renovate the Lane-Carroll house, an old yellow farmhouse. To ensure that the house is given historical significance, the city has teamed up with the Allen Heritage Guild. The renovations to the Allen Heritage Village should be complete by 2023.

Allen Heritage Village Facilities

The Allen Heritage Village is a modernization of the old Allen from the 1920s and 1930s. The original Allen Christian Church as well as St. Mary Church are part of this combination. These churches are being renovated beautifully and can be rented to host different events such as weddings or reunions.

The Allen Christian Church can accommodate 250 people. St. Mary Church has a capacity for 75 people and can host small weddings.

Allen Event Center

Allen Event Center, a state of the art venue that occupies 188,000 square feet in Allen TX, is known for its state-of-the art facilities. The entertainment and sports center can seat up to 7,000 people, with 27 suites. This facility, which hosts the Dallas Sidekicks (Professional Arena Football League), and Allen Americans (Eastern Central Hockey League), is used for more than 100 events each year.
